Job Quality Frameworks
Job quality frameworks help us define what a good job is and what our shared goals are for improving work
People and organizations have been working to improve jobs for a long time. However, job quality as a term, and as a framework for improving jobs, is relatively new, and still unfamiliar to many who want to improve jobs and our economy.
This guide is meant to be a starting point for those newer to job quality. It includes several examples of job quality definitions and frameworks from several organizations, showing the different but overlapping approaches organizations have taken to defining job quality. The guide also includes resources that serve as starting points for those looking to integrate a job quality framework into their existing work on improving work and economic outcomes for workers.
